چکیده
Salinity is one of the major stress factors that has a substantial impact on agricultural resilience and concerns global food safety. L-tryptophan being an essential regulator with specialized activities in plant functioning, as well increase tolerance to various abiotic stressors. A hydroponic experiment was carried out determine effective role okra seedlings saline environment terms growth, physiological, ionic, antioxidant properties. imposed growth medium two levels NaCl (Control 80 mM NaCl) whereas level (50 µM L-1) administered externally both combined single forms. MDA H2O2 contents while dry matter, chlorophyll content, relative water contents, membrane stability index, K+/Na+ ratio decreases due salt stress. Salt toxicity reduced when added illustrated by increased ratio, suppression generation. Our findings suggested salinity okra, which could be cause viable sustainable production from salt-affected soils.

Fertilizer Requirement for Densely Planted Okra ( Abelmoschus esculentus L . )
A study was conducted at Mahailluppallama, in the Low country Dry zone (DL1b) of Sri Lanka, during Maha (2008/2009) to determine the fertilizer requirement of Okra when planted at closer spacings. Three (03) fertilizer levels (T1DOA recommendation/ plant, 2 DOA recommendation/ unit area and T31 1⁄2 times DOA recommendation/ unit area) were tested using Okra varieties Haritha and Green Tender (F...
متن کاملEnhancement in the germination, growth and yield of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) using pre-sowing magnetic treatment of seeds.
The effect of pre-sowing magnetic treatments was investigated on germination, growth and yield of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus cv. Sapz pari). The dry okra seeds were exposed to sinusoidal magnetic field induced by an electromagnet. The average magnetic field exposure was 99 mT for 3 and 11 min and seeds with no magnetic field treatment were considered as control. Both treated and non-treated s...
متن کاملResponse of Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) to Growth Regulators and Organic Manures
A study was conducted at the Horticulture Farm, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Bangladesh during April to September, 2012 to determine the suitability of selected plant growth regulators and the proper use and effectiveness of selected organic manures and also their suitable combinations for successful okra production. The experiment consisted of two factors: factor A: growth regulators...
متن کاملAssessment of genetic relatedness among okra genotypes [abelmoschus esculentus (l.) Moench] using rapd markers
DNA based RAPD (Randomly Amplification of Polymorphic DNA) markers have been used extensively to study genetic relationships in number of crop plants. In this study, 44 okra genotypes collected from different parts of India, were selected to assess genetic distinctiveness and relatedness. Total genomic DNA was extracted and subjected to RAPD analysis using 14 arbitrary 10 mer primers. The molec...
متن کاملInfluence of Farmyard Manure and Weeding Regimes on Growth and Yield of Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench) in Zaria
Field experiments were conducted during the 2010 and 2011 cropping seasons to investigate the effect of farmyard manure and weeding regimes on the growth and yield of okra. The study was a factorial experiment laid out in split plot design, replicated three times. Farm yard manure was assigned as main plot treatments, while weeding regimes was assigned as sub plot treatments. Parameters measure...
